Is Thecoinhub a cryptocurrency or investment app?

No. Thecoinhub is for cataloging physical coins and commemorative medals only. It does not track crypto prices, wallets, or provide financial advice. Personal "memo price" fields are for your own notes.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account is required. The app works entirely offline. All data is stored on your device.

How do I back up my collection?

Open Profile → Backup in the app. You can copy a JSON backup to paste into Notes or another app, or export a readable inventory list.

How do I restore data on a new phone?

On your old device, copy the JSON backup from Profile → Backup. On the new device, open Profile → Backup → Restore backup and paste the JSON, then confirm.

Why does the app ask for photo or camera access?

Only when you add or edit a coin and choose to attach a photo. Images stay on your device and are never uploaded by us.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete items individually inside the app, or uninstall Thecoinhub to remove all local data from your device.

What iOS version is required?

Thecoinhub supports iOS versions compatible with the current App Store release. Please ensure your device is running a supported iOS version and update the app when updates are available.
